I wished my dad had been into watches and bought me a birthday sub or speedmaster, instead all i got what was supposed to be a really nice red wine, he had bought when I was born, but it was corked and tasted like vinegar. My logic tells me that my dad owes me a 1982 plexi Sub i will call him right away and let him know.

    Ps. congratulations

Re: New arrival 100% a keeper

Congratulations, definitely a keeper. You'll probably find the "movement" is a bit sticky to start with and the alarm function keeps waking you in the middle of the night but well worth the investment. :D

Re: New arrival 100% a keeper

Congratulations. As others have said: maintenance on these models will set you back a fortune, but the good thing is that, as they age, you'll enjoy them even more. So it's a great investment all in all.

I've had 4 of them in mens and ladies versions, hearty congratulations to you both! The first 18 or so years are the hardest, piece of the proverbial after that..... 8)
