Another month or two drifts by.. still looking forward to seeing more info about this one :)
Gosh, another TF project that I'm very interested in. I hope they are not all put on sale at the same time.

After a few months away, I'd completely missed this thread, but I'm now glad that it's raised up again. The watch looks :rr: so will be closely following it's design ..
/vince ..
2 or 13 will do me
I'd like #96 please. :)
I don't think the Vantage will be for me but this one... oh yes. If it costs less than a Merc.
Looks cool, Eddie. What is it?
^
Try page #1 and working up. :)
Very cool and so noir
Still hoping it will happen one day :)
I don't believe anyone's put in a request for number 11 yet .. Not that I think for one minute that Eddie will trawl through this thread and allocate numbers to people who have called them ... but you never know (god loves a trier ;) )
Looks lovely, and looking forward to hearing about this project in the fullness of time.
Greg
Come to the dark side..........................
Great great great great
Masterpiece, looks very futuristic
I'm still waiting for the CAF...
Any update on this Eddie?

Are you sure Eddie, sounds a little unsure :DOriginally Posted by swanbourne
And he has resurrected the picture in watch talk :DOriginally Posted by andrewa
Beautiful. I'm in love :drunken:
i am asking myself if you can read all the numbers on the bezel when looking onto the watch without turning the arm...
the angle is quite aslope..
This is the one I'm waiting for. Slightly impatiently.
Me too. The lack of suitable movements is very frustrating to me as a wannabe customer.Originally Posted by Glamdring
Worse still is not knowing how much it will cost and the difficulty of synchronising available cash and the 15 seconds timeframe in which these watches will (eventually) be available to buy. ;-)
I know, Eddie has let us down big time :blackeye:Originally Posted by Glamdring

Ready and waiting as always.
Eddie
Come on then lets get it on sale PLEASE love the look.
Simon :P
Haven't you heard, its coming in a peli case
Good rumours a true rumour :blackeye:
Not bothered about a number, but would love to be on the list for one 8)
Be interesting to sell it as a Smiths rather than as a Precista - you'd have the lovely military style mechanical watch that's soon to arrive, and a thermo-compensated superquartz ceramic watch to contrast with it.
Steve
Amidst all the excitement of the Smiths 36, Smiths 39, PRS-14 and the oh-so-nearly full-lume Italian this thread has slipped onto page 2 and I'm not having it!
But I would be having this... :love4:
Not much discussion in here... any updates?
This is something I'd easily buy and use endlessly. Just need it to happen!
Does the bezel rotate? looks a bit stationary in the computer rendering!
Yes, things do tend to look rather stationary in a still picture  .Originally Posted by AndySquirrel

What's the update on this? Is it still in the pipeline?
We want to believe!

Every watch a story.
Or time scales to decide whether or not to transfer funds from the DN GMT account?
It's not dead, just sleeping.Originally Posted by abraxas

That's better than dormant
AP.
Is this sleeping because you are so busy preparing for the November/December 2010 launch of the Dreadnought GMT? :blackeye:

After seeing the shattered ceramic cases in various threads, I've decided that ceramic isn't the way to go. I'm exploring other alternatives and all will be revealed in good time.

Oh well. It's a shame that ceramic isn't all it's cracked up to be (pun not intended).Originally Posted by swanbourne
How about depleted uranium? Hmm... perhaps not. Tungsten could be interesting, though.
Depleted Uranium? It's hard.Originally Posted by swanbourne

Maybe using some reclaimed metal from the Ark Royal.
Or from the sub what ran aground off Skye.
That would be Astute.

Metal seems to work ok. :)
Tungsten would be very cool.Originally Posted by markrlondon
