Very nice to read and watch this review!
Great Review, maybe I should by one more, whit a orange bezel...
ace review, am also going green!
Cheers for the review well done! I've been looking at the PO with orange numbers on the dial, but your excellent pictures made me realise that I'd rather keep my SMP 300 2531.80 :-)
An excellent review. I keep thinking about one of the 42mm's.
I'm seriously considering one of these. From reading around, it seems the 45mm black model is quite popular. Great review by the way.
I took a while at an AD yesterday who had pretty much all the combinations, settled on an orange bezel, 42mm on a bracelet and ordered the black rubber strap with orange stitching and deployment clasp as well so I have the best of both, got a fantastic deal on both and cannot wait until they arrive, hopefully for collection on Saturday as it will be my birthday!
How about some pics when it arrives?
Happy Birthday
Will do, and thanks !
Great choice Roady, I'm also realy tempted by the Orange bezel at the moment...it would make a great summer watch!
Excellent review ! Liked it so much I've bought one :D
Great review and pics, thanks.
I have a 42mm black Planet Ocean on a bracelet which I think looks very good indeed.
Knew I shoudn't have read this review - need to scratch a PO itch now..... :D
Really nice !!!
Very nice review with a lot of nice pictures. Really helps !!! :D
very nice
Wow, excellent review.
Thanks.
Thanks guys, nice to see this is still being read :)
superb review :D
Great review and pictures.
Like everyone else it seems, I hadn't considered this watch, but it looks so good in your pictures.
I even stopped by Goldsmiths yesterday and tried one on.......now i want it even more!
Only trouble is, i can't quite afford it, so will have to keep my eyes out for any coming up in Sales corner.
To echo the sentiment, this is a great review. I'm also beginning to appreciate the PO (particularly in orange), although I think my skinny wrists will only tolerate the smaller version!
Great watch. IMPO bang for buck, nothin comes close. Had 4 of'em.
Tidy.
Oh yeah. All were 42mm versions. 45.5 was a bit big on the bracelet. On the strap it seemed to fit better.
42mm would be my choice, everytime.
Thanks for the great review. I was using a search engine to check on stem and escapement issues from the past, and among other places it pointed me to your review. Terrific photos.
I'm now back to owning a 45.5 mm standard black with white on bracelet, and agree with your comments. Wonderful watch. Thanks for the review.
I'm converted!
Great review and great pics although I prefer it with a bracelet. Makes me want to have one and replace the 2254.50
great pics! Waiting for the liquid metal edition! The Bond watch is just nice! :D
Fantastic review which was pivotal in my decision to buy a PO. Deviated slightly though in as much as I went for the black bezel with orange numerals - in my opinion they help to 'lift' the second hand. Many thanks for the effort youv'e gone to.
Gareth
Superb - been thinking of the PO for a while.
But I'm still a big fan of the Railmaster too
Maybe one day I'll come off the fence
(can't afford both :crybaby: )
Had a black Bond version for a few years and really miss it. Think I am going to go for the new Liquid metal version of the PO.
Wow, what a post! And such an informative read. Thanks so much :)
Great review and pics. Thanks for taking the time and for the historical context.
Fantastic Thread... Good work
Love these, Thanks for review
Cheers
po is fantastic but too thin the new seamaster not that nice like the old ones
Great review and even greater pics.
Thank you for writing the review and taking the time whem taking the very nice pics
I have a SMP Chrono Ti, and am wondering if this watch would be something for me.
Only wayt to find out, is to try one out.
Enjoy the wearing the Omega
Rgds,
Feike
I bought a PO and a tag at the same time, and have hardly worn the tag, the PO feeling very "right" on the wrist
Good write up too. I do prefer the black dial with orange numbers though which is the indecisive version shall we say.
Mark
Thanks for that review.
My favorite is the orange PO with the 42mm diameter, it´s special but a real beauty!
Thanks for the review :)
Looking for a 42 Black bezel with orange numerals for myself.
classic, clean watch....like it!
