Super. I love it. Perhaps cos it reminds me of a television.
I reminded me of a great big Super Bowl winners ring....of a team that has won three Super Bowls...three diamonds surrounded by a material that matches the winning teams jersey such as onyx or jade etc. Looking at the rings I suppose the very vaguely nearest real one would be the Steelers 4th ring from 1979

Couldn't agree more with you Kirk on the Reverso GMT:) I tried it on while waiting for my flight in Paris last week and couldn't stop thinking about it.... :? Pure class and perfect size for a dress watch. The price is a bit steep in this economy however :( I will trade my Bremont with you though :D Cheers!

i like the look of the cartier tank..

is there a rectangular automatic with 100m wr? tank is 30m, as most of the ones i saw in this thread (great pics by the way)

any rectangular "classic" that could be homaged? i suddenly realized that eddie hasn't one (hint hint), and i wonder why the past military watches were all round

It would have to be a Caritier Tank or a black Rado Ceramica.

Re: Your favorite Square / Rectangular watches?

This is the only one I have that is close to square:

Did seriously consider a BR01-92 Blue, but went for an IWC Aquatimer 2000 instead.

Not been able to afford any more high end watches since then due to going through a divorce!

The end is in sight and maybe I will be able to add to my collection?

    Regards,

    Charlie.

Going to have to go with my Longines Evidenza chrono. I was gutted earlier in the year when I tried a Tag Monaco only to find it was too small on my wrist

Long time fan, and now owner of a JLC Reverso...a design classic. Cartier Tank a close run second, but needs a leather strap IMHO, the metal bracelet Tank Francaise doesn't do it for me. Chronoflex, tan strap....nice. If you're on a budget, the Longines Dolce Vita chrono is a decent substitute.

Yes, it is a Sudoku inspired watch, apparantely Leonhard Euler (mathematician from 17th century is supposedly an inspiration to the Sudoku game) Anyway I just really liked the dial (hard to capture in photos). ...Or you could call it a Frank M wannabe if it makes you happy

Does the Radiomir count as square/rectangular? If not then the Tag Monaco would be it for me. The only Tag with good resale value IMHO

Could not agree with you more.
This is one of the most unusual and beautiful watch dials ever, but but just can't quite bring myself to trust the movement...

I think that I need to really start looking for a square watch, 'cause this thread has inspired the more post from me than any thread in a long while.
Thanks to everyone for the awesome pics.
    Cheers,

Oh yes considering the number of discount sales for Perrelet actually, the resell price will be ultra low. But I would except some models like the "double rotor", they should resist better.
