If you are 100% apple then iCloud Keychain is the best, especially with family password sharing.

If you use chrome then passwords.google.com is superb

If you mix and match then Bitwarden

It gets annoying when you use iCloud for apps but chrome for passwords and Bitwarden for catch all when iOS only allows two options for autofill

iCloud Keychain won’t store passwords for apps. It will fill in log-ins on Safari, but you’ll be stuck when an app asks for a password, or you want to generate one and store it at the same time. While it’s not always perfect, Dashlane can do that.

Step 1 - install Chrome on your iPhone
Step 2- move Safari to some dark forgotten folder to never see the light of day

    Job done, problem solved :-)

Seems to do so for me?

I get apps which are just web apps disguised as apps ultimately use safari and pretend they’re an app just like Pizza Hut/ domino’s and the like

But when open a bonafide iOS app like BA/Avios it logs me in correctly and after password resets asks if it should update the iCloud Keychain entry
