That's stunning to my eyes too - very well done!
A new addition to my collection and bit of a Marmite watch - so I thought it would be fun to post som pics of it here.
There are actually lots of reasons why I would not like this watch -
A messy dial, a bezel with meaningless number markings, oddly shaped chrono buttons and the fact it is part of something as cheesy as a "collector's series".
Strangely though I am very much in love, so it must be true what they say - love is blind!
Gentlemen - I give you the "Omega Museum Collection No 3 - The Officers Watch" (I did warn you about the name...)
That's stunning to my eyes too - very well done!
That is very cool... And the photos are superb... Does it have a plain case back or something more elaborate ??
Cheers
Matt
Sorry but far too much going on for my eyes! Not sure about the red 12 either.
The red 12 is an old tradition on military timepeices, one that dates back to pre-wristwatch days.
A beautiful dial, I can see why you love it. The only thing that grates for me is the shape of the pushers, why use the oval buttons of more modern Omegas when round pushers would suit the retro look much better.
I am into Omegas but have never seen one like this
It's nice to see something unsual. Great catch.
Nice and looks good on the brown leather, I like the dial, maybe the bezel could have been a little less plain?
Nice man, not what one should first think about when you mention Omega.
Excellent detail on the dial, would not be crazy about the red 12 though
certainly unique sitting on the fence here
maybe a grower
Thanks for posting. Very interesting and unusual omega.
Very unusual, I (think) like it!
What age is it?
Needs more numbers.
Nice to see an Omega different from the norm.
Certainly very different.....this is what makes this forum great, seeing these watches and hearing about people's views of them up close
Thanks for sharing
Cheers
Nice, I like a 'fussy' dial.
It's interesting to see larger manufacturers drawing so much from the past.
IWC's vintage collection etc...
I quite like it, too.
Mind you, I've no idea what some of the scales inside the watch mean. Pulsations - is it written in French perhaps?
WOW very different
I like that very much; I also think it might look rather good on a vintage Toshi, or similar, if you can get one.
