    TOASTED SANDWICH MAKER

    My Breville sandwich has broken and since purchase there appears to be many differing models and makes.................any recomendations?

    It can used for so much more as well. It will scare how much fat comes out of sausages!

    I recently picked one up from costco and it seems good, removable plates etc - made by Cuisinart I think

    The thing with sandwich toaster, they are all pretty much alike. I too have a Breville one which I have had for years and seem to be doing the job. The less fancier the better and less can go wrong.

    And take up a hell of a lot less space than a proper sandwich toaster thingy. Depends what you want out of it of course but we make Ham & Cheese Toasties in these all the time and they taste just fine and take seconds to wash up.

    We've just got a new one from Argos. I think it's there 'own' brand - Cookworks?

    It was only £14.99 - £7 off at the moment.

    It looks okay, but it's only ever visible when being used, other than that it lives in a cupboard.

    The best thing about it is it does 4 sandwiches at once. Enough to keep the whole family happy!

    panini press from John Lewis - own brand.

    kids love the toasties that come off that and nice stripy lines as well !!

    mmmmm....making me hungry
