It took a year to reach to Rolex

Well, I joined this community almost one year ago.
Even before that I had some interest about Rolex but here I found it to be one of the forum favourites.
So I got an itch to get one and yesterday I got my first Sub.

It is 14060m from 2010 and I am more then happy with it. Bought from Henrik (subgmt in Nederlands), one
of the Sellers in chrono24 who had nice feedback in other forums. Indeed, he was a good guy to deal with.

Photos will follow when we will have a bit better weather here (in Estonia it may happan after several months...).

Meanwhile the watch which brought me to the world of horology:) If I remember correctly, I got it when araund 5-7.

Serious piece for a child - mechanical, with complication :) and made in USSR.

    Cheers,
    Priit

Really nice for child, I have never found this kind of Rolex watch before.

Like I said "Meanwhile the watch which brought me to the world of horology:)" - so this one do not pretend to be a Rolex (even back in USSR).

That's an excellent watch, but then I would say that!

Thanks for sharing this wonderfull childhood memory watch.

Congratulations with your sub! Indeed the form favorite, group think, watch.
It should be stand getting wet or snowed upon so no need to wait till spring.

Where will your wis-dom take you next?

Don't often see the moonface complication!

Wish I still had my first watch!

Congrats on the Sub - hope it is living up to expectations!

Love the childhood 'Fox' watch - can I ask what the complication was? Does the smiley face disk spin? What's the relevance of the circles around 8,9,10,11? SOrry for all the questions!

This bun was ticking there - this was the "complication".
I do not have it any more unfortunately and even finding this picture was
difficult as I remembered only the fox on the dial.

About Sub, weather is not an issue from point of wearing it, but light
conditions are bad for taking pictures, I am starting to forgot how sun
    looks like:)

Haha, same in London right now, so no pics today. Welcome to the Sub club and lets see pics when the weather improves!

Despite of poor weather conditions some photos with handheld camera.
And to be honest, everybody have seen better pictures of Sub then I can
ever produce. But just to show mine...

    Cheers,

I hope you enjoy it, at least as much as I enjoy mine!
It's just a matter of time...
