    Another wednesday lad here.

Season ticket since 80/81, travel to most away games too (for my sins).

What footy has taught me is that you can stil have one of the best years of your life no matter what age you are (last season/year was brilliant given the way we beat that lot to promotion).

Oh - and well done Bradford - have a soft spot for them due to a connection because of my dad.

It's always pleasing to see. Most football fans I know are happy for them, always good to see an underdog punching above their weight. Stops the thudding predictability of the normal weekly league games.

I was a Portsmouth fan, from as early as I could remember. I had a season ticket from my early teens (1990/91) through to the 2006/07 season. Now, I couldn't even tell you who they are playing next game!

It didn't take a genius to work out that things didn't add up back then. The Premier League ruined PFC as far as I’m concerned - but that's a whole different topic.

Nowadays I follow my local non-league (Blue Square South) team - Havant & Waterlooville.

I'd encourage anyone to go and see their local non-league team, it's helped me fall in love with the beautiful game all over again...

Probably the most footballing pleasure I've had is watching my mate's lad all the way from 5 (now 12). Been to a stack of games and seen them from a team where any pass was a miracle to the crack bunch of assassins they became. Less personal now as they are all picked up by the Clubs - But football for the joy of it.

Southampton, through and through... I bleed red and white ;)

It's my birth town, moved away for some years but now back home. It's never boring being a Saints fan, just in recent times we've had boardroom battles, been in administration, started a season on -10 points, a billionaire buyout, big-name managers being sacked, developed then sold some of the best young English players around, back-to-back promotions, the manager who achieved that has now been sacked and we're now in yet another new era with a young new manager.

Few clubs can match us for headlines and drama!

My two favorite clubs : Real Madrid C.F. and Manchester United.

I used to be a fan of Olympique de Marseille but now it's quite hard to support any French team...

These! Season ticket holder for the last umpteen years. They recently renamed the trophy cabinet at the KC 'The Cabinet'. This season is looking good so far ;)

I can quite honestly say I have never supported a football club.
It's just a matter of time...

Be interesting to look back at this in may. It's not a given Cardiff will do it.

Very brave words when there's 3+ months to go!

Or maybe they'll spend vast amounts of cash they don't have? (again).

I was at Reading on or near to Boxing Day in 2011, freezing my nuts off, watching a dull match, when they were in 15th place or so...

Heard it all before... and you ABU's me laugh! Now how do you know that I have no familial connection with Manchester or that my maternal Grandfather had no connection with the club??? Oh, that's right... you didn't.... You just assumed that I wanted to support a club that plays fast, attacking, attractive football and how dare I do that???

But keep smiling... Fans of the club at the top of the Premiership certainly are!

Well Tom most of the football fanatics are going with the Ravens so we shall see. The Ravens have a huge defensive front line too it will be something to watch.

Rayo Vallecano (mother's family thing - no choice in the matter. Disowned if we'd ever have muttered the phrase 'Real Madrid').

Given I grew up in Birmingham and never got to see Rayo 'live' or indeed on TV I used to go to Molineux a fair bit so I consider myself a Wolves fan. Good times....or not...

seems Villa have just signed the swansea ballboy as he holds onto the ball longer than any of the useless gits we already have.

    It must have been me!

Joking aside unless you are an ex pat Manc why would you? Apart from glory hunting obviously.

There are plenty of London clubs where Surrey lurkers can go and watch their team.

My friends and relatives support West Ham, Chelsea, Spurs, Arsenal, Palace, Millwall, Brighton, I don't see how a southerner can feel any affinity with a northern club and vice versa.

That said I do know a bloke called Rupert from Caterham who professes to be a Manure supporter.

    Says it all really.
    Cheers,
    Neil.

    Luton Town for me.......

I've supported them for as long as I can remember and I'm 43 now!

Seen the good times and the many, many bad times but here's hoping that they will capitalise on their winning streak in the Cup!
