New Arrival - My First Omega

Following a recent post about Quidco offering 14% cash back on Goldsmiths for a limited time I thought I'd jump on the Aqua Terra I've had my eye on. Obligatory pictures below. I've tried to show the white/silver face as it catches different light.

I don't have the tools to remove a few links, so will be popping into a local store tomorrow on lunch to get it done. Excited to say the least.

Good choice. The AT is such a fine looking and versatile watch. It's a good feeling getting your first Omega on your wrist. Enjoy!

Well done, that's probably the nicest all-rounder in Omega's line-up!

I had one of these and traded it for an IWC, I really regret it too...the IWC is now gone as well and I'm left without my AT! Hang onto this!

A good choice, just a shame they're so expensive thesedays.

Enjoy.....and if you're not satisfied with the timekeeping after a few weeks, insist on having it regulated under warranty. These watches are capable of great things if they're carefully regulated.

    Nice one.
Soppose Omega's keep their value quite nicely because of insane price increases...

Saw one in the window of Goldsmiths the other day next to a brown dialled one. The white was the nicer imho. Beautiful watch, enjoy!

It is. The 38mm was just that bit too small.

Thanks eveyone for the nice comments. I have just returned frrom lunch wearing it after having a few links removed. Watches of Switzerland (in Birmingham) kindly did it for me, even though purchased from elsewhere.

Don't think I'll be wearing a few of my other watches for a while!

Nice one Sean - congrats on the purchase :)

BTW, if you need the bracelet adjusting again, let me know - I'm just down the road in Newport Pagnell, and happy to help (and compare Omega collections too!)

That's a good choice ... a fine looking Omega you have there. I'm sure that it'll give you a lot of pleasure ... and I'm jealous because I've never owned a new Omega; just several older watches, one of which I wear daily.

Brilliant choice! I'd love to get myself an AT.

Super, so you've got your 'first time' too...;-)

You've got to love the AT. Pick of the Omega range for me at the moment - it's just the difficult choice of 38/41mm/white/grey/blue combo, they're all really nice!

I think, as ever, the white is slightly dressier and looks good on a strap, whilst the grey and blue are slightly sportier.

Congrats of your new purchase, a beauty...!

I wear my white AT on a brown gator strap with jeans. You could say it looks a bit dressier but the difference is so slight, you should go with what you prefer as all of them are really versatile.

Thanks Richard. I'm still making my mind up if it's too tight, or whether just because it's different.

I'm really not sure. But I have to save the pennies first, so it'll be a little time yet. That said I am eyeing up a Stowa as a more affordable purchase. What's on you hit list?
