I think it fits pretty good. That's not tan, but you can find one easily enough if you like the look.

Have a look at db10 straps, I think they look great on a Speedy. Plus James is a member here so you can easily pm him if there's anything you fancy.
Gunny Straps has an amazing custom strap option. It is a more vintage look, but the leather quality and custom sizing takes it up a notch.
Also because it is custom you can make it yours!

Now that I have a vintage Speedy I'm really torn between a light tan and a mid tan Heuerville. Any thoughts or comments between these two colours? I'm thinking the light tan would be too yellow, yet I like the look of it in this attached shot as it's aged and darkened a bit.
Anyone seen both up close and have any thoughts?
