    A new arrival - Grand Seiko SBGX089

    Hi lads,

Yesterday was a good day. Went to my trusty AD to pick up two watches from service.
Svante, the owner of the store is always in a good mood and we talked alot about beer and hockey - like all Swedes :)
I wan´t going to buy anything but when I had a glance at the GS monter I saw a piece that was just killing! A SBGX089, limited edition of 500.
It came home with me! The Watch is trult beatiful and very nice quality. Brusched and polished case, and a very accurate movement. The box is a tad bigger then your normal GS box.

Here is a crappy iphone pic:

Cheers and have a great day!

Very nice indeed. I have a 42mm Explorer 2, similar kind of watch, this blows the Rolex out of the water. And how nice to see one without the dreaded date at four and power reserve display!

    Thanks!

Had the White dialed 42mm Explorer. A really nice Watch.
IMHO this is more of a "Milgauss killer".

    Regards,
    Gustav

It's too early in the morning, I thought it was a GMT! I still really like it.

Would choose that over a Milgauss any day of the week.

Does it have the 9f movement?

    Nice.

I especially like that "5" is "5", and not "05".

I can see the argument that someone might make, that it is better to have two numerals at all locations, instead of one position with only one - but it doesn't wash with me.
