I was lucky enough to get an early PRS82 wiith the dark blue nato. It is a lovely colour and brings out the colours of the face nicely...
...it does darken when wet though;)

Beautiful midday dip in the local creek :)
The dark blue nato really brings out the blue of the glass.
Leather strap for the winter season.
Fantastic watch.

Leather for me too.
I bet tapatalk will mess with the photo quality so apologies in advance.
Some beautiful straps :)
My ONLY niggle is that the bezel markers don't line up with the dial markers around the bottom half.
Fantastic watch otherwise!
Chunky mesh with seatbelt clasp on number 4 with custom crown ;-)

I am VERY tempted by one of these (sans custom crown!).
Do it, I don't think you'll be disappointed.I am VERY tempted by one of these
reckon mine has had more wrist time than all my others put together since I got it.
one of the few watches I own that has caught the attention of others too.
So, still loving my PRS-82 (one of the initial batch!) however have had a minor "incident" which has left some scratches on the side of the watch...they look worse than they are (or at least I think/hope so). Can anything be done?

Just use something mildy abrasive like a kitchen sponge with the green scouring pad on one side, should come up a treat.
Ultra-fine wet 'n' dry followed by Solvol Autosol. Use a flat pad or block to apply both.

Two months of ownership and I'm still really enjoying this watch.

I don't usually go for a leather strap on a dive watch, but I'm quite liking the how the PRS-82 works on this distressed lambskin strap:
Something to do with the vintaged lume on this watch makes it work better than expected on leather, I think. Of course it's aces on a good old NATO as well.
If it were not for the L on the dial I'd be over this like a rash.
Had some dark blue leather left over from a job so thought I'd try a nato with it. Struggling to photograph it well but the blue really brings out the colour of the lume.

^^^sets it off perfectly. Blue as black as the night

That looks great… the AR coating colours blue as well when the light catches the watch in the right way to add even more symmetry!
Still wearing the PRS-82 on the leather strap... just a quick phone picture:
Really liking this combination! First time I've ever really gone for a dive watch on leather.
Prs-82 has to be seen to be appreciated.
The dome of the glass and the bezel grips are beautifully executed.
A friend at work has got one and it looks soo understated, a very cool watch,
not at all shouty.
The 82 always makes a good impression, smart and understated. I was at a Rolex AD a few weeks ago and the salesman asked me what sort of watch I was wearing. He had a good look and guessed it would retail around the £1k mark - his jaw fell when I said what Eddie charges for them!

No. 149 arrived with me today and I'd got a few straps lined up for it already..
A bit smaller than I usually like, but I'm going to stick with it...
Just dug it out ready for work next week.

I have a real desire for this watch but I have to hold out a little longer as in the market for an original 6105. If I could afford it I'd buy one of these tomorrow! Some great combinations of strap that work with it very nicely.
I'm new...and this is my first post. Recommended here by a friend and have been looking at the odd thread from time to time, so it's about time I registered!
This was the first post I thought of to wade in on. Lovely watch.
Welcome Bodo! This really is a superb dive watch with substance, can't see them being around forever.
Welcome! But I have to say: the PRS-82 is so nice, and so few exist compared to the number of 6105's that are out there, that if you want one I wouldn't let the next opportunity pass you by. 6105's will still be around, but in a few years I expect the PRS-82 will be quite rare indeed. Good luck!
I have an all original 6105 and a PRS-82 - love them both but agree with the above post: jump on a PRS-82 while they are still available. The 6105 is a gorgeous watch and belongs in any collection. However, they are quite common and easy to come by.
There is one for sale on WUS right now...
(no relation to the seller, only happened to see it posted just now)
How does the 82 wear compared to the PRS-18? I have 7 inch wrists and wouldn't want to go too much larger than the 18. Thanks.
