Hi
#67 checking in from Helsinki.
What a fantastic watch this is, in terms if style and looks.
Few questions some folk have asked and here are a few answer:
Does it hit the markers - Yes mine does, its at 00:45 right now
I have a sub 7" wrist will it wear ok - Yes my wrist is sub 7" and it fits nice and snug due to the end pieces and the NATO strap
Is this a keeper - Mine will be :-)
Thanks
deano
Looks the perfect watch for people who like to wear their watches right on the wrist, rather than behind the 'bone swelling' (I'm sure it has a technical name!) as the crown doesn't dig into your hand!
Very bold and interesting design - Great work Eddie and Giovanni Moro (the designer!).

I've put mine on a slightly thinner NATO and its even better for my small wrist.
Could an auto be made with a change of some of the case dimensions? Would love to see it in the future.
Here's a picture from the designer (nicked from Facebook).

Thanks for the quick post and pics. This one is growing on me the more I see of it.
lol. Why has he taken a picture of it with a glock?
Someone in the other thread requested a picture of the watch sideways on on a nato, so we can see how it sits on the wrist on the strap. The view you get looking down your arm at it, if you know what I mean.
I'd like to second that request please.
My wrist is 7.5 inch and the watch sits very good. No matter if the strap is tight or with a bit of slack, the watch sits centrally on the arm and doesnt move. Very comfy.
The shape of the watch enables the Nato strap to run straight underneath the watch, it does neither sit akwardly on top of the strap, nor is the strap "bend".
Interested to hear if the crown is a bit more awkward or fiddly than a conventional 3 o'clock crown?
If you can cope with the Precista Bronze crown then you can cope with anything. That one is a thumbnail job.
Yes I second that......
But coming back to the PRS40, its very easy to pull the crown and not fiddly as it larger than the watch case and you can get your fingernail underneath very easy.
Here is the picture that had been requested, sorry for the two hairs being "in the way"
Cut the extra bit off the NATO off and its going to be a lovely fit on the wrist!

Eddie last time I drove through Sheffield there wasn't that much water.
Received my PRS-40 today, and I love it.
Great size and fit for my 7.5 inch wrist.
Also, the NATO strap that the watch comes with is really superb quality and suits the watch perfectly I think.
Here is some pics with my Tuna for a size comparison.
I just love this one! Many thanks Eddie!

Thanks for the photos and the side-on shot.
Tempted to use a "RHINO" single length strap rather than NATO. Doesn't seen any point in using a NATO apart from aesthetics (if NATOs are all about anchoring the head in the case of a pin failure); it just adds height to the watch, and detracts from the lines of the design (IMHO). The lugs / slots look like they'll hold the watch in place without requiring the second length.
You could use that design for a speaker; put a woofer where the dial is and an omni-directional tweeter where the crown is ;-)

Just picked up the Nato watch from the post office, sorry no photo!
What can I say, only that it's a superb looking watch.I was initially very cautious when I first saw this design many months ago, I just couldn't see, how it would be comfortable on the wrist due to the shape. How wrong i was! It's one of the most comfortable watches I own, so light and quite slim indeed. The finish on the watch is very similar to the 18a I own just a bit smoother, the second hand, as said is bang on and the superluminova is totally different to any photo I've seen, as very subdued in colour with a greenish tinge rather than more yellow as with the 18a, the hands are one of my favourite features of the watch.
This is my first quartz and I have to say it's great, ever so slight ticking noise, when against the ear.I was initially concerned that it had 22mm lugs, but it would have looked totally wrong with 20mm Imo, the new green strap is the best straps to date and the new shaped hard wear is very nice indeed.
I was concerned about the size of this watch, as it did look huge on any photo that I'd seen, but i have a 7.5" wrist and i think it fits just right.Anyone undecided with this watch, all I can say is go for it you won't be disappointed.
Thanks Eddie ;))

I like the look of it. Slightly retro space age in my eyes and wouldnt look out of place on the wrist of someone floating about on the ISS.
Unfortunately its too large for my taste - not the watches fault of course and manufacturers have to follow fashion, its just good business sense.
It should do well.
Anyone got any steel bracelets in mind for this one? Something along the lines of this Omega or an AP-style one (hopeful maybe!)? Any independents manufacturing these in 22mm lug width?
How would you fit a bracelet to the watch? The lugs are integral to the case, so the only way you could do it would be a custom build?
I maybe wrong though .
Just gorgeous. Love these flat-topped case designs, a la Oysterquartz et al, and this one takes that look to the max. Reminds me a bit of my old Ingenieur.
007 reporting in from Canada! It looks great on all the new nato's. Today I'm partial to the green!
Cool key-fob/light! Thanks!!
The new owner of the first one flipped checking in. Great watch, and a more than worthy successor to the PRS-10.
No one has more pathetic wrists than mine, but I'm perfectly happy with the fit.
I'm equally impressed with the new NATO, my first of these. I think I'll be back for the other colours. Superb.
Nice photos, guys. Quite a unique watch, and I think it really stands out on the NATO.
Absolutely love the dial but I still find the case a bit "challenging", which is the only thing stopping me ordering. Is anyone else struggling with it?
It does look good - in a 'utility' kind of way.
Ralphy took this down to 62 metres yesterday.

Yes, that's the appeal for me. The NATO going through the slot in the case and the bead-blasted finish make it look like a piece of camping equipment, or climbing equipment. It's just so uncompromisingly tool-ish and practical looking. I will be strapping one on on Christmas Day, all being well.
