The Killing - Danish Police Drama

I am watching the first series and if you don't mind subtitles, it's brilliant. Send the rest of the family to bed, open a bottle of beer or two and be entertained.

Itīs great. You might want to see the US version aswell. Starring Swedens own Joel Kinnaman. Great role for him.

I watched all 4 seasons of the US version, though it was great TV, one of the 1s things I watched on Netflix.

Have heard the original Danish version supposed to be better, but was too hooked on the US one.

Just re watching US season 1 after starting it when it came out. Really good, very addictive. Will be making a point of watching the Danish versions as well.

David, I appreciate you've got a lot of catching-up to do, given the Isle of Wight connection and all that, but we've had quite a few threads about this already, going back as far as 2011. Where have you been?

Canīt go wrong with the Danish version either :)

You should also see the Swedish/Danish show Bron (The Bridge) staring Kim Bodnia and Sofia Helin.

    Hey Olly
To be honest i have"nt seen it repeated on any stations , it was originally shown on BBC 4 as was Borgen and Arne Dahl, whether it is still available on catch up or i-player maybe ?, i saw them there originally and have since brought the box set which you can now get for Ģ20 on Amazon

I know Arne Dahl is returning next year for a new series though...

    Cheers

A 3 year delay is good going for the Isle of Wight and we can even watch things in colour now.
