    "Red Sumo"...

    SPB029.
Another rather nice Thai limited edition of the popular Sumo model,

That's a great edition, I just wish they weren't soooo big.

A bit strange with cyclops, other than that; sweet!

    Looks good :-)
Cyclops doesn't appear to be doing much though.

I love the Sumo but I really don't like that at all, awful colour and a cyclops as well!

I like it. No qualifying "but", like everyone else.

Was looking at one of these in Bangkok airport a couple of weeks ago.

Didn't have wifi, so couldn't see if it was priced well.

I really liked it, especially the wave detail on the dial.

    Different!

I think I like it? I love Sumo's and have owned most colours and would consider this one another option? Just out of interest how much was it?

Picked one up last week at Bangkok Airport, and it's been passed to Santa to deliver Xmas day.
My first Sumo and looking forward to giving this some wrist time over Xmas.

RRP is 38.000THB, they can be had for a little south of 30.000THB.

Google of seiko SPB029 comes up with a silver model, that lacks the cyclops.

I like them both, the dial makes it less "macho" and more adaptable to general use - IMHO.

Rough translation looks like about £500, so over what I'd wanna pay.

The only pic I've seen of one w/o a cyclops is a bizarre photoshop job (check out that bracelet...).
It has a cyclops, no option.
