3rd Anniversary here and a tour through time. Pictures heavy and to be continued.

    Hello.

Well I have been here for 3 years now Its been an experience and I have met and traded with some real stand up people on this forum. Thank you !

My watch addiction started in 1989 when at the tender age of 20 I bought this new for £599. My dad went mental (Cant say I blame him looking back)

I remember many years latter a good mate of mine saying.Gucci are brilliant (At making shoes and handbags)

I wore this watch everyday up until 2004 and it was my only watch I owned and then something happened. Not sure what the catalyst was but I then started looking for a new watch and I chose Tag Heuer and it all went a bit stupid. My first was a SEL.

Then a link then a Calibre S. I still to this day have no idea how to set the date on them.

The rest is no particular order but Tag Heuer was dropped by me in favour of Omega and that's when it really went pair shaped. My first the SMP

    And a black one

Back to Tag again for a little while.

And then came the 1st of many a Planet Ocean.

My first Rolex came from Tony (LTF) on this forum.

Throw in another Tag heuer or two.

    Another PO

    Then my first IWC

    Back to Omega.

    Back to Tag heuer.

Then I dipped my toe into the Seiko pool.My first again from Tony (LTF) here on the forum.

    Another PO

My second Seiko and the start of a collection. It wasn't intended. It just sort of happened.

    to be continued.

That is quite the mixture of watches there. Really like the monza and those po pictures are making me miss mine more and more, might look at getting a liquid metal version soon.

What has been your favourite watch?

Good variety of different watches and I see that you remain loyal to only a small selection of brands……………..So far!

I am looking forward to seeing part TWO :)))

That's absolutely bizarre Tony. That exact same Gucci was my first expensive watch, and also kept for several years. I also moved it on for a Tag, albeit an F1 and then an SMP. Many of the other watches have passed through my hands too.

Is it really only three years, Tony? It seems much longer..........

Anyway, congratulations on the milestone, and on your ever-improving taste in watches!
