Perfection.... SARG013
And a recent mod.... SKX009 mod. Sumo second hand with red tip, faded bezel and bubble boy Sapphire
Wow! That is special!
Hi folks. Just got this one from the Phillipines. Crystal was very scratched but got a new one from Thailand. Movement stripped, cleaned and serviced. Running like a dream now. I love these funky 70's Seikos. Not everyone's taste though!!!
Put the SARB065 back on it's original strap.
Really enjoying the Tuna - especially the domed crystal's optical effects.
my new arrival...
Very pleased with it. Think I may have knackered the bracelet already with a DIY adjustment though! Pins just fall straight out now
David
I'm not sure this bracelet has the same type of pins and collets. I was looking out for that. The pins just seem to be straight pins. I might start up a new thread to assess how much I've cocked it up when I can take some more pics later. I started pushing pins out before I realised there were little arrows indicating which way to push.
David
You've pushed the pins out in the wrong direction. The pin would have had a slight bulge at one end and the bracelet link has the hole slighter larger on one end to accommodate the bulge. Pushing the pin out the wrong way has effectively extruded the pin but if the pin is a split pin you might be able to tweak the pin.
Newly arrived from Asia.
This is one I bought in 1985 when working in London. The alternative day display is in Arabic. Still going strong though it doesn't get any wrist time now.

Apologies for not getting pic to display. If someone could let me know how it's done I would be grateful.
Thanks.

When you have a url to an image, click the little image icon when you edit a post, its icon looks a bit like a tree in a window. Paste the url into the box that appears.
Your image's url was:

I found that link by clicking your image so it opened into a new window.
Hi Bodo & thanks for that info. I have pics of my Oris to put on so will try it there.
This fat chap arrived today. Very pleased indeed, excellent for the money and the strap is up there with isofrane for comfort
This one new in today. The bezel catches the light in a lot of interesting and unexpected ways.
Originally build by MartinCRC and added a bit myself (black chapter ring and silver second hand)
A new arrival this week and living upto if not beyond expectations, unlike this quick pic taken with the iPad.
there was a time when I had literally dozens of them but now im down to just 2. for me the epitome of what Seiko did and do well....
finally found a strap that wears well on it without being overbearing.
not the most worn in the collection but my personal gem.
48 year old Lord Matic.
Still going strong.
...5606 with a working quickset. Yeah baby!!
EDIT: Forgot I had already posted in this thread. How do I delete a post, as opposed to merely editing it?
