Use mine all the time.
Many things require minute level precision rather than second or split second.
Used it to time the rice this evening, how long I'd been treading water in the pool earlier...
Dave
Used mine on every dive I have done. Purely recreational diving and use of the watch is by no means essential as dive computers do the job better. It just feels good to dive in a dive watch. In all fairness it is a good back up just in case.
my PO has been everywhere with me. And its vital for when im cooking!!
I actually use a bezel fairly regularly - to time really mundane things...
...as a "dive watch" owner, Ive never been in any doubt - I will never need to test my watch to the extremes it allegedly can handle - I just like how it looks.
I use mine for diving ofc but also as a reminder mental hook - a bezel not aligned correctly will remind me that I need to do whatever it is I need to remember.
Frequently use it, to time parking times, cooking times and - when on diving trips - to have a marker to know when I dove.
I use it for pleasure mainly. Like stroking a cat. It just feels nice.
Cooking but mostly parking meters or Pay and Display.
Paul
I use mine daily... To check when I'm due back from lunch at work!
For diving and other...
For the bbq ofcourse. Always but on a diver for that. Timing is crucial.
In the past only diving, now just for parking :(
I time my breaks at work, so I can get my nose back down on the grindstone before I get in trouble...

Many, many times for all manner of things. I dive with mine too and use the bezel as a backup timer for the computer. I have had several computer failures over the years but never a dive watch failure.
The problem with using it as a timer, is that I forget to look at it and then I run way over time.
And so, like many, I use the timer function on my phone.
Car parking and timing when my dinner will be cooked if I m in the bath ( kinda diving related! )
Nope, not now, not ever.
Daddel.
Got a new watch, divers watch it is, had to drown the bastard to get it!
Nope! and the watch will never go diving either!!!
The usual - car-parking and occasional cooking times.
[QUOTE=EJL25;3553163]Just used it to warm up the sauna.
I was going to say timed my dog walk yesterday and also timed my veg etc :) but this is class
Much as others, running, swimming. Count down for parking etc. Diving no. Cooking; well if me being in close proximity to a cooker that is heating something can be called cooking (in reality not a hope!) then I will proudly add cooking to the list.
My cooking watch bezel gets used frequently. When not in full use in the kitchen... it also reminds me of when my hourly patient appointments are finished.
Cooking and parking meters
Not a dive watch but used the internal bezel on my MB to time my wife's contractions.
I bet she was loving that! :-)
Mine also gets used for timing parking and cooking (loosely - timing boiled eggs and oven chips etc)!
Also a bit OCD about having the zero pip perfectly aligned at 12 o clock when not in use. My 13 y/o son takes great pleasure in sneaking up and moving the bezel on my new subc a few clicks just to annoy me!!
I've formed a habit of using it for timing quality time with my wife, so that adequate coitus time is reached before interruptus.
Don't think my 165.014 would be very happy to dive nowadays..
In the past, I used it for what it was designed for…………diving.
But now maybe the occasional short term car parking!
And to listen to the 120 bezel clicks :)
Absolutely:
- Cooking roast dinners: Timing between adding different things into the oven
- Most recently, the time between my wife's contractions when she went into labour
For diving, running and cycling....oh and admiring!
I used it on Friday during a 1.5 hr exam consisting of 8 questions, to track that I was only spending 10 mins on each question :)
Every time I jump into a sea or river and that is often.
I used to use mine to time my son's football matches.
I used to do the write up for the local paper so it was handy to know the times the goals were scored/incidents happened.
Cheers,
Neil.
