GPS watch that isn't a dinner plate?

I like the idea of a GPS (time setting rather than location) watch - however are there any that are not dinner-plate in size? Or is the technology simply not there yet to allow that?

Thats less then 1mm smaller than the Astron.

I have the Astron and it doesn't really wear big but it's not fitting under a regular shirt cuff.

I think it must be the size of the technology otherwise watch manufacturers would definitely be making them a more suitable size for marketing.

According to this though those dimensions include the crown with the bezel measuring 43mm. I believe it is also a couple of mm thinner.

I'm not sure how large the dinners served up at Chez Smithee are but the recently announced Citizen F150 and F900, which are both due later on in the year, come in at 43.5 x 12.5mm and 43.5 x 13.1mm respectively.

Depends on what you'd be using it for. I've got the TomTom GPS watch for cycling. It's decently sized.

As I put in the Opening post - I'm only interested in it for time-keeping not location - so think more Astron, Airwave, Oceanus rather than watch for timing sports - in particular something I can wear with a shirt.
