Picked up a SDc Yesterday
Having quizzed the poor guy very thoroughly, I now have this Longines incoming from a dealer in Singapore:
Only 34mm, but I've discovered that half the watches I thought were 35mm were actually only 34mm, most recently this other Longines, which I bought off the SC earlier this year
I recently saw a 34mm Air King listed as 35mm. Clearly as much rounding up goes on at 34-35mm as at 39-40mm. My wrist is only 6.5" so 34mm is fine. I'm expecting that the straight integrated lugs will add a little presence.
The mesh strap is original (and a bit dented)
If I decide the watch is a keeper, I might look at selling the mesh, if it was worth more than nothing. I've no idea about that, anyone got any idea?
I particularly like the radial brushing on the case, never had anything like that before
The movement is a calibre 6942 manual, ticking at 28,800, with hacking and 3.85mm thick. The hacking is an unusual sort: the second hand continues to zero before stopping.
New arrival today, a CWC Quartz Diver bought from James (TimeOut). I was worried in case the watch was going to be too big as it is approx. 45mm wide at the crown, but it sits really comfortable and doesn't feel so big when on and the glow from the lume when in reduced light is fantastic.

Only a new bracelet, a 20 mm take on certain PAM bracelets, which of course come in 24 mm and have solid end links and a double pushbutton on the deployant....
bought today :D
On its way and should arrive tomorrow.
Swore blind I'd never buy one but I couldn't resist given the fact that it has only just celebrated its first birthday and the price pretty favourable.
Definitely prefer bracelets so am really looking forward to getting it on my wrist.

Haters gonna hate, but I am delighted!

Well after the Squale thread - I ordered one of these - 1521 Blue Ocean blasted.
Should be here tomorrow or Thursday.
I've got an MM300 purchased from SC en route.
I'm hoping it will be waiting for me when I get home tonight.

Bought an Orient day date automatic off Tim (Tim63). It has an amazing dial that shimmers and changes colour in strong light. It is difficult to capture on a photo, but I took the watch outside in the sunshine and managed to capture a little of it. Superb build quality and a lovely looking watch. Exceptional value for money.

I can't remember how to do pics on here, but achieved a personal Grail at the weekend.
I traded my '69 oyster date for a newer '10 explorer (still 36mm).
I know the steel isn't quite as nice, but I was always worried about the old one so had stopped wearing it.
Really loving the black face. And not having to faff with the date :)
Blimey that was quick Ken!!! Glad to see the watch get an early airing. Tim
That Urwerk looks very special , can we have more info and pictures please?
New arrival....

Great thread. That JLC below is a beaut.
An old favourite has returned - not much loved on here but I've always liked them, GP a Sea Hawk Pro2 3000m.
So I sent a very sorry looking Tissot off for repair to the UK Service Centre.
They decided to send me a brand new one instead at a greatly reduced price.
Incoming tomorrow
