My wife pointed me in the direction of this earlier as we lived in Oxford for 11 years. Very strange thing!
Ten minutes away, might pop up there with the camera later, hadn't realised it was that much of an attraction!
If locals are baffled why don't they ask the tourists what they've come to see? Surely someone can enlighten them.
Or is it just BS. According to the story "It's all quiet at the scene here in Kidlington, with no sign of any tour buses or sightseers.".

Hasn't their railway station been renamed as Oxford something or other (Parkway?) Out of Marylebone rather than Paddington.

Don't know but Kidlington Airport is now London Oxford! Maybe some foreign equivalent of Ryan Air is using it as London?
They should have just named it "Bicester Outlet Village" and then the tourists wouldn't have to bother with London at all.
Apparently it has something to do with a rogue tour operator who has been telling our Chinese brethren that Harry Potter was filmed at one of the locations.
