    Vratlislavia Conceptum S4 Chronograf

This arrived a bit sooner than expected.

Straight off the leather and onto a good quality mesh.

    Nice little beater.

    Happy with it.

Great value for money watches, I've had a good few but managed to resist the latest issue.

That looks really good, tempted by the Homage to the siffert

How thick is it? and how deep is the rehaut? That is my only bugbear with some chronos, although the quartz movement should help, I guess.

Congratulations. Not had one myself but they do look good VFM and I seem to have read a few good things about them recently. Enjoy.

    Very nice!

I have a blue Heritage Chrono Series 3 and I was, and still am, tempted by the brown S4.

I noticed the black one you have is now sold out, they do seem to have a following of their own!

Looks good! Mine must be on its way soon then I guess.

May I ask which mesh you've put it on please?

Good looking watch that - certainly can't complain for the money.

First owners shot I've seen - looks good - congrats on that, they are great vfm as previously said above. How is the new crown design? Looks like it's very smooth though unlikely to be an issue on a quartz as you won't be winding it.

Looks great, I prefer the black dial out of the four options. Let me know if you feel like moving it on!

I'd also be interested to know what make the mesh is.

I've got the S6 panda on order. I'll post some pics when it's here.

Same here. I have a "Heritage Blue" Series 3 and really like it (as well as a VC Formmeister) so ordered the white S6. I'm looking forward to seeing the double-domed sapphire on the S6 as I think it'll suit it better than the flat sapphire on the S3.

I just noticed something about the bezel markings. On my S3, the bezel is marked "TACHYMETER" as expected. On the website, the S4/5/6 and 7 are marked "TACHOMETR". I must admit I thought that would be corrected for the final production examples, but I've just noticed that the watch in this thread is marked "TACHYMETR", which is a real shame. I wonder if anyone has contacted Marcin at VC about this yet?

Thinking out loud here, but is it Polish?

The rest of the dial on the watch pictured is in Polish, the Series 3 is in English.

That's a good point, perhaps that's the answer. The text on the face is in Polish on this one (as opposed to the Series 3) so you could well be right.

Yep Series 4 models now have all bezel and dial text in Polish I believe, can't recall if the case back is now the same too?

Yes. Text is in Polish I saw a discussion during the design stage where people where arguing that it was even spelt wrongly in Polish, the y instead of o, to a native Polish speaker.

My S6 arrived this morning. Very pleased so far. I have a mesh waiting for it and may also try it on a NATO, but for now the standard leather with matching blue stitching suits me fine. It's actually a soft, comfortable and decent quality strap. As ever, the photos don't do the watch justice. I worked out the total bill for mine was £158 including delivery. Excellent value I'd say.

Looks a lot like an Autavia Siffert. Nice watch👍

For those interested, another version of the chronograph was announced today, called the S.8 or "Astronauta". Main differences to the S.4 version are the thinner hands, new crown and polished upper bezel.

    S.8 version -

    S.4 version -

My S.5 finally arrived two days ago:

The strap is my own, but the one that came with it is very nice.

I reminds me very much in size and heft of my Heuer Autavia 73463 (sorry to bring it up, Ed ) and, although not necessarily top-shelf kit, the quality is nonetheless very high. Excellent value.

My only complaint is the chrono. The minutes register is at 9 o'clock and, if you look at the dial, you will notice that there are only five-minute markings. Makes it a bit tricky to measure individual minutes. The fact that the chronograph minutes hand moves smoothly (and the running seconds hand moves in increments, odd that reversal) makes it even less useful as a chronograph.

It is still a very nice watch.

Talk to Marcin, he takes the money upfront but your watch will arrive it just might take a couple of weeks or so.

The new S.8 looks good too! Big fan of Marcin's work, the watches are great value. I saw a Kickstarter project watch with the same Miyota quartz movement, they looked lovely but were a few hundred quid more than the Vratislavias.
