    Oh dear!!

Got an email from Stowa this week some new limited editions due later in the year. This caught my eye and may have to be the next purchase to go with my flieger. Opinions??

Looks like a nice modern'take on a classic design from the late 1930s and 1940s, with nice railroad index track ("chemin de fer" in Swiss parlance), and leaf hands. I like the blue dial and the contrasting silver hands.

I have ordered one - and I think that there are still around 100 left.

Not keen on the hands, I like the poirot hands (think that's how they are called) of the earlier versions.

I got the same email and thought "damn, wish I had some cash at the moment"! I think it's lovely.

I always wonder: why put a display caseback on a watch with such a bland movement? Either decorate it or a nice steel caseback to cover it, preferably with some nice engravings ...

That being said, I like the blue!

I think there are a couple of options to choose from reading the tread on WUS:

Date or no date (although this option is not certain)
    Onion or flat crown

I only skimmed the thread looking for pics (it's a long) so things may have changed.
FWIW I prefer the non-onion crown.
