    Wearing Panerai Bezel Protector

Spotted a Panerai submersible on the train this morning but only because it was covered by the plastic bezel protector. I always assumed this was just a transport/watchbox thing - never expected to see someone wearing it on their wrist. Have others seen this?

No, the dealers confiscate those before you are allowed to leave the store.

Panerai is a rare beast in NI, no AD on the island of Ireland.... Never see one in the wild, apart from mine of course 😀

As panerai bezels are so shonky it's probably a good idea to keep as much protection on the watch as possible, guy must have some experience of panerai's famed after sales service.

Maybe the guy just didn't know. Like the newbies who come in for their first interview with the label still on the cuff of their new suit

I think Wiers on Grafton St Dublin are an AD for Panerai. They had a fairly big display for them in store.
They have also started stocking Grand Seiko now .

Good to know. BT had them for a while but stopped a few years ago, and Weirs was an AD in the dim and distant past. Must fly by on my best trip to the Aviva.

That's nothing, few years back some guy had a great idea to put glue on his Speedmaster bezel to protect it from scratches...
