Finally picked up my Speedytuesday from The Trafford Centre today & have to say it’s worth the wait
It's a very nice 36mm. I'm not sure if it is actually any real indication, but there are a couple of smal pits in the back around the caseback which are brown/black, so I'm thinking it is plated? Could be completely wrong. It was a french seller who didn't give many details other than flufing on about how nice a watch it was.
I had #69 of the first batch and stupidly sold it.. nice to have another but it is a newer one.
Latest incoming and I thinks it’s safe to say it’s a keeper
In today, Seiko solar SSC617P1, 43.5mm, 14mm thick, 118g on the oe strap.

Arrived a week ago today. Initially I wasn't convinced. However, after seeing a few racing dial versions on Rallye straps I bought a dimodell Rallye in black and beige and now I'm converted. I don't know I don't see more on straps as the jingly jangly bracelet isn't the best.

Marked dugena 1181 http://www.ranfft.de/cgi-bin/bidfun-...k&Dugena_1181&
Looks like you're right. Needs regulating/servicing though, about 2 minutes slow a day.
Awaiting the return of my BB41 from repair under warranty. I can't wait to get it back onto my wrist!
My latest arrival won’t be a forum favourite.
Fenix 5 Sapphire.
Still finding little stickers on these two.

Collected by Speedy Tuesday from Goldsmiths Metro Centre yesterday :)
Got myself a DSSD Deep Blue yesterday. Bought it s/h, its a 2015 UK with all the boxes papers etc in really excellent condition. The seller simply didnt get on with it as he felt it was too big, he actually described his wrists as being lime a 5 year old boys. It is actually bigger than I realised but I’m not really worried about that. Had it on all day today and only just realised the date is wrong!! Reset it now correctly. Loving it at the moment, but will wear it for special occasions mainly I imagine

Cheers Andrew.
I think I find it large at the moment compared to my other pieces. I have a GMT (obtained from W44NNE on here) as my daily wearer, I also have a Daytona and a Hulk. All seem substantially smaller and lighter. I’m sure I’ll get used to it though. I much prefer the dial on this one to the plain black one though, which my bro in law has. The graduated blue to black is sublime and the green text sets it off. The glide lock is a great idea, maybe more watches should have this ??

Agree with the above, and it is a watch made to be worn. Wear it and enjoy it.

I'm finishing up my stash with this one I think.
Some collection shuffling will leave me with my 114060 as a daily, silver dial RO offshore diver for weekends when it's back from service and this for special.
The black diver has gone to an entirely suitable new home today with the 1680 to follow at some point. I'm happy with my choices.
JackW very kindly responded to my WTB, and the watch arrived with me today. I'm absolutely over the Луна with it.

Seamaster 60th Anniversary picked up today.
Got a Nomos Orion 309 coming this week. Plan to use the horween strap to start but would like a second option.
Does anyone have a suggestion? Quite like the Nomos velour look but read elsewhere that they become dirty rather quickly

Good choice!!! I'm fighting the urge to buy an Orion 309. May I ask where did you source yours from? The horween straps are absolutely top draw but unless you have massive wrists the medium strap that they usually ship with may be too big for you. I have 7 1/4" wrists and my Club 701 medium strap was only just small enough. I'd be interested to hear how you get on with the Orion strap size wise.
Picking up a used one from Chronext, they've recently relocated their London boutique to a few doors down from my office. Given the mixed reviews, largely around their lack of communication, I was skeptical. The guys in there won me over, but I'll report back on the end to end experience.
I've read about the strap sizing issues. Hopefully if it's on a medium which proves too big, they may be willing to swap it for a small (this is really just wishful thinking, but I'll try my luck anyway)

Chronext is by far the cheapest. I bought my Club 701 from them in December 2014 at well below RRP when the £ was worth something and it was a great experience. I would recommend them and it's where I'll be getting my Orion from if I don't manage to resist the purchase. Very keen to see some pics when yours lands!
That's good to hear! The only issue with their price varying on GBP:EUR is that I have been checking the fluctuation every day for months! I'll definitely be back with some shots
