    Weirdos.

I really don't get those wishing to have a dig, unless of course those that didn't manage to get what they wanted are miffed that they can't move their watch on for a profit...

It is a hard line to tread.
You need to get interest high enough to sell out of the batch, which has been costly to manufacture up front.
And you need to make a good enough watch for peoiple to want one.
However, it seems that if you do your job too well (either of them, or perhaps here, both), and you risk the WIS-lynch mob parking their pitchforks on the web.
I feel sympathy for him if this ends badly, he doesn't deserve that.

Agreed. It almost appears as if he can't win, and that's not right at all.

For those interested, halios preorder is opened on http://www.forasec.com
    https://halioswatches.com/ to follow

Pre-order of the series III of the Seaforth. Now with date/no-date and steel/black DLC case options. This pre-order will start March 8th 2018 and continue for a week, after which Halios will re-assess the order books.

Due to very high demand, we use a pre-order system with a deposit of 250 Euro (refundable if you change your mind). Final price will be 670 euro for the fixed bezel versions (720 with DLC coating) and 690 for the rotating bezel versions.
We will ask you for payment for the remaining amount (plus shipping) a few weeks before delivery will start. Planned delivery will be 4-5 months from now (but delays can happen), so August-ish.

Yep. That would be mine too.

Tempted by the orange too but I think orange dials run the risk of looking a little cheap / tacky. It's a shame they discontinued the Bahama yellow but I guess customer demand spoke.

I went by the theory that nobody else does a dial that colour, you cab get orange/blue dials elsewhere, might be a thin theory mind you :-)

I really am tempted... I always liked the pastel blue with no bezel, but I have come around to being a fan the steel bezel, especially with the orange. But then they give two options there as well! Spoilt for choice.

Shame the prices are in $US not $Canadian!

Anyone know if we have to pay VAT or does he use a European warehouse?

I’m running the risk of looking a little cheap & tacky - have pre-ordered the orange-dial with sapphire diver’s bezel. A summer watch I’m thinking....

    Yes!!!

Finally got my Helios Seaforth in Pastel Blue with the Steel GMT bezel ordered, been after one of these for a while and always missed the sales when they had them in stock.

Big thanks to the OP who highlighted this thread again for the pre-orders...

VAT & fees & shipping if you order direct.

    EU distributor is FORaSec.

It's quite a punchy exchange rate as they're running 1:1 dollars to euros so works out marginally cheaper via the distributor once shipping etc. factored in, although deposit needed is a little bigger €250 vs $200.

Almost certainly joining the pastel blue club but a friend has an Abyss Blue MkII with saphire bezel and it's a genuinely impressive combination.

    Halios release

Just ordered the pastel blue with 12 hr steel bezel as I missed the series II.

Deposit accepted and so hopefully I just now need to sit and wait for its arrival in around 6 months!

Thought this might be of interest. Invicta 9400 bracelet, not my pics but apparently a great fit. The watch is under £100 on eBay etc. I've ordered one, will be selling the watch head!
