Yea I know what you mean...I never remarked on if expensive or not above ;)
I have a fair few Gs (8-9) but haven't bought one in a while (18 months or so....). The last two were the camo froggy (also a 82xx model) and burton rangeman - both around £500....felt that was my limit! Plus the D1000 froggys are massive watches IMO. Looking more at the 8235D its growing on me.....
I think i have about six, which is more than reasonable though. Nearly pulled the trigger on a king of g recently, there were a couple of bargains on the bay last week. Still, my resolve held firm. That 2500 black aviator on sc was a bargain last week for fifty quid also. No need to spend hundreds to get your g fix..
The new step tracker looks very decent in the flesh, nice size, nice stealthy look. The bluey green one is particularly nice. And the strap is the softest I've ever seen on a g. You can land one of those bad boys for about 90 new
Good luck everybody. Have a good one.
Ah young G Padawan so much to learn
The Frogman designated as certified 'Diver' watches. Spec wise they include sapphire glass and of course screw down backs, log data and probably more features I'm missing that set it apart - but those are the big 2. The features include depth gauge, compass and temp - so a triple sensor, though different to say a Rangeman. Plus it is the upper echelon of Gs - the real elite of the digital Gs - the distinctive looks help it too, so of course that commands a premium. The Frogman have always been expensive, just the way it is.

Gold one is on another 35 anniversary, on DW-5735D-1BER.
You can see both on this picture (shamesly stolen from the web) :

Display on 5035 is "silver mirrored pixelated"
I have own both, I have kept the 5035, 'cos is perfect G-shock (at least fo me)
Display is superb and even is dim light you realy don't need illumination to see the time.
Buy it now, you can get it from NL for 199 EUR, which is steal price, IMHO.
I wouldn sell my for double price.
Don't wait too long....

I know, it's a crazy good looking watch, it came out way nicer and more special than the DW-5735D - I like the "normal" DW-5750 reissue (which I do own) much better actually. It's funny by the way how six months ago, I thought Casio re-releasing the DW-5750 was the most exciting thing ever, but they've come out with such awesome stuff since then it's kind of paled a bit, even though I still love the 5750.
To be honest, the thing that's keeping me from having got the DW-5035 already is the module: I was really annoyed when Casio failed to update the 3229/3421 properly (restoring dual time, putting some more alarms in, muting the buttons - just the simple things) and while I was OK with that on the DW-5750, I somehow expect the 5035 to excite me with more than just looks ...
I'll keep my eyes & ears open S.L.

You should all get help.
Someone who lies about the little things will lie about the big things too.
You should try a Frogman, one of the GWF-D models.
An overview of them (and other Frogmans) here: https://www.g-central.com/casio-g-sh...an-all-models/
For many years I only had a non-atomic King in my collection.
Then I got a Mudmaster as a gift and bought a Rangeman (Burton) a few years ago and was happy and content with that.
In the beginning of this year I took a Frogman GWF-1000-1 and then I was lost.
(the Mudman DC and a G-Steel did not fit in the box)
There’s no such thing as too many G’s.
Number 23 was ordered this morning.
Feeling quite 'normal' here with 8 Gs
Im thankful I'm not super keen on ana-digi Gs however the urge for another Frog is strong....

Same today for me!
Unfortunately Andrew my tastes have very much gone to the more pricey Master watches. The more affordable fun end doesn't do it for me anymore!
So I have to be weary on costs, can go out of control very quickly!
Would love another froggy, maybe a D and the new 'smaller' MTGs are very cool too. They're my aims for the year!

Arrived yesterday
35th Anniversary - gold collection DW5035D
Gold accents on the face along with gold pushers, buckle / keeper and case back
Steel case with screw back
I think that the gold works really well. The strap is the softer better quality one that is fitted to the GW5000 1jf jdm. In fact that heft and feel of the watch are virtually identical to the GW5000.
Mine arrived today.
Can’t find one of my favourite functions - the hour signal (beep beep!)
Also, didn’t someone mention that you can change the date into European format? dd/mm
Congrats Andrew - is this the standard black one ? And did you find a decent price or at retail? I am considering going to try it on - been holding off as I'm scared I'll want it!
As for the date - I believe that was with the B5000. Not sure that is confirmed with this model?
Very strange about the hour signal - I dislike it but certainly thought that would be standard on any G. The manual not confirming anything either?
Cracking price too - I'd have bought one for that! Going on a trekking mission on Fri and this would be ideal, guess I'll have to settle with the standard Rangeman!
I keep hoping that someone will prove me wrong on the hour signal.
It would be very odd for such a top range G not to have it?
I was unsure about purchasing one of these, but really glad that I went for it.
If I was off trekking I would definitely want to take one, and give it an excellent work out.
The original Rangeman wasn’t a favourite of mine.
Sigh, I know - £800 is a bit rich for my blood, the money I guess being used for the trip! I don't mind the original Rangeman, lets see how I go when having a look tomorrow or thurs.....
I agree on the function - seems odd. Must be so many functions, hopefully just something easy to miss
Seriously it has to have a hourly signal, my fav thing about wearing a digital. Used to annoy the kids mum when all of them used to go off in the draw.
I tried one on a few weeks ago, it was huge. Loved it.
It looks like yours is in mute mode on the display picture Andrew.
