Ruislip to The Old Vic

Off to the theatre later and wanted to ask the general knowledge the best way from Ruislip to the Old Vic theatre.
I can get to the Metropolitan, Piccadilly and Central lines.

Whilst I'm at it, any good places to eat / drink nearby?

All the tubes you mentioned are about the same as you will have to change to get to Waterloo which is the nearest station the Old Vic is a great place to see a play and about 2 minutes from the exit. I grew up in Ruislip good memories of fishing at the Lido and playing in the woods.
