    Chronograph reset slow motion video

Saw on WUS. I did not know that chrono seconds hand jumps back and forth while you reset it.

I wasn't aware they wobbled that much, but it may differ by movement/hand type too.

Some with older watches with chronos will only reset the hands when they've just passed 12 to minimise the force being applied to them when resetting.

I would suggest there is little or no damping on the movement, probably needed to ensure it sweeps smoothly. F=mXa all over again.

Just took a slow mo of the reset on my Speedmaster. The hand jumps back to the 11 marker.

I'd love to see a Patek chrono. Any owner please?

If you watch this video from 4m30s - the chap places a piece of paper at 10 o'clock on the face of a Valjoux 7750 powered Hamilton. You can see the paper get flicked off the dial as the hand resets.
