Very good ! I do like the date wheel both the funky script and the different colours.
I've been wanting to do this build for some time and have had the hands and bezel in a drawer for months.
A dual time watch should have a bi-directional bezel if at all possible (Steinhart are you listening?) so I chose a -Murphy manufacturing coin edge as my starting point.
-Dagaz Superdome sapphire/insert kit
-Drilled lugs by John Bentley
-4r36 upgrade with double seal crown
- onesecondcloser sword hands for boldness to go with the bold font on the bezel insert and bold original dial markers
- a mix of day/date wheels. My reason is that IMO visually a black day wheel blends into the dial and a white date wheel balances out the dial markers. I also think the kanji script somehow complements the funky sword hands.

I’m really liking that build. Where do you find all these parts, I’ve just found the stuff on eBay too ordinary and not what I’m looking for at Dagaz.
There are a lot of suppliers for modding parts now. I have a big list on a post on my Instagram page which I've tried to keep up to date with new suppliers in the comments.
If you're after a specific look I might be able to point you in the right direction.

I’m not on instagram but would appreciate any links to suppliers for skx parts.
Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.
I’ve never found a source for IWC mk xii/xv style hands and would love to put these on a Dagaz Thunderbolt (the two standard handsets are not really to my taste) - the complication being that they would have to fit a Miyota 9015 (I know there is more of a proliferation of Seiko handsets)...
P.S. Having typed it twice I’m suddenly questioning if the use of ‘handsets’ is correct!

Very nice mod, not sure about the hands (yet). I would also be interested in a list of suppliers of quality mod parts...

That's a good start. It would be nice if we could insert a spreadsheet with which of the suppliers does crowns, or sapphire etc but I don't know if that's possible on here.
Rather than replying to said thread, if I reply here you can update the original 1st entry to your new thread.

If there are any regular watches which use a miyota movement and have hands like you want.....find the case code and do a search on cousins to see if they have hands for it. Just an idea....unless you find the style you wand and get them broached or opened up (I'm not sure of the size difference between miyota and Seiko off hand)

"The Watch Bureau" on eBay sells Crystaltimes stuff, already here in the UK. Got a signed crown off him a few months back - really helpful over eBay messages before and after sale.
