Are they A H Hirsch or Hirsch Selection .
The A H Hirsch 16 year old are between £1300 and £3000 depending on the bottling , great buy at £37.

With the Sun shining today we had late afternoon early evening drinks in the garden,it is my Son in laws upcoming 40th so no better reason.
So we started on the beers, then onto the Whisky.I decided to get out a fair few bottles I bought over 10 years ago to show him......."show him" not drink,I've never since buying them checked on the prices.A bit of a back story, over 10 years ago I saw or was it read I can't remember article about whisky as a good investment,so the next day off I went to Skipton to the Wright Whisky shop,I bought 10 bottles of Whisky no longer in production,4 X bottles being the A.H.Hirsch bourbon @ £37 a bottle,it's seems it was a rather good buy as we're all the others.........very happy indeed.
Rare and very very collectable it says.

Very nice , the three bottle release were blue wax , gold wax and gold foil.
All the same bourbon just released at different times .
Blue is worth the most then gold wax then gold foil .
Many people rate it as the best bourbon ever made .
Just shows how crazy whisky/whiskey prices have gone crazy over the last 10 years.

Best place is "whiskyauctioneer.com "
Very good prices and low commission.

I've also bought through scotchwhiskyauctions.com based up in Glasgow - pretty sure they do bourbons and the like too and are a pretty slick outfit in my experience.
The best bourbon you'll never taste.
Probably.
(Although that was the '74, from memory).
