    What gives with Chronocentric/Chronotrader?

I used to frequent it regularly some years ago, particularly when I was going through something of a vintage Heuer phase. Now, what isn’t a scam (and it’s full of scams) is so expensive that it’s not worth considering.

What happened to the old community and how did it go so wrong?

It’s dire Tony. Jeff just seems unwilling to do anything about it; he’d be better off just shutting Chronotrader down.

I see some of the other sub-forums are being overrun with spam, too. Shame.

I haven't bothered with it in years but the 'International Vintage Heuer Owners Club' on Facebook is worth a look.

If Jeff doesn’t get onto this he shouldn’t be running a forum.

Indeed, not something you'd expect from a high-end watch 'seller'

Quite, Tony. My responses have been held/quarantined, but the threats remain...

Best to report such threats to the police.

Not sure that would be worthwhile - the forum's managed from the US (probably hosted there too) and the offender could be located anywhere.

I've messaged the forum owner; he's yet to respond.

I follow a few vintage watch groups on FB and recently am being bombarded with paid fb ads for fake Rolexes and other replicas....

I do report them and they report back to me they remove them but it all happens all over again
