Got “the call” last weekend for this and been wearing it non-stop. I have no interest in the black submariner, but love the sea dweller, just has a little something to it.
Stumbled upon this the other day on Instagram...
Barely out of its box, and already one of my favourite things.
Seemed appropriate for today’s adventures. Love this watch and one of my top 3 all time.

Id buy nice silver dial 16234
I was a long time admirer of this blue dial. In the flesh it is quite something.
Had to let go of my SD 16600 to get this, so hope it lives up to the watch it has replaced.
Wish I could have kept both, but I had to try this and so the SD had to make way.
Loved the SD and I hope to own another one day.
Out of the modern sports Rolex lineup, I’m finding this is head and shoulders above most in terms of wearability. The case shape is excellently proportioned.
Any remorse I feel for selling the SD is quickly tempered when I catch a glimpse of the lovely sunburst dial on the YM.
Picked this up yesterday, my first Rolex. I had been contemplating an Explorer 1 but after getting the 40mm Everest I went off the applied indices of the Rolex and didn’t want cost of a vintage piece, so then attracted to the Milgauss , think it’s the second hand that did it , as a bit under the radar for a Rolex. Gave my “expression of interest “ to the AD in Leeds last November and told they’d probably give me a ring in the New Year, didn’t expect anything or maybe middle of year if at all! With this thought last week I started looking at 40mm Explorer 2 white dial which has now become my latest desire! Then out of the blue , phone call from AD , Milgauss with my name on if I want it! - yes! So down to Leeds to pick up yesterday and on my wrist since.
Really comfortable, looks great and fantastic quality- chuffed doesn’t cover it.

No new watch for me this week. So here’s my deep sea with some of my favourite things .. ( in the background is a brewery)
Not in the same league as most of the Rolex's on show in this thread but here is mine:
1979 Rolex Oysterdate model 6694 with a modern luminova service dial and hands. A flat back (manual wind) and 34mm wide makes it very easy to live with.

Oysterquartz 17013 in not great light. In the sunshine the gold is lovely.
Not a massively popular choice compared to the 17000 and 17014 but I like a these with the silver dial.
