It's a 35 Anniversary model DW-5735D-1B with bezel from another 35 Anniversary model DW-5035D-1B (some hairs and dust included)

I have the same version as that and love it. Somebody posted a fascinating video the other day of someone dismantling a Rangeman and they'd also produced a video for the GWG-1000 which might make you appreciate it all the more - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-jVz7TzWDQU

30th anniversary metal case dw-5030 with an aftermarket steel bezel. Quite like how it looks, got it as a test to see how they worked and fitted before getting some of the casio ones.

My GWG-1000 is getting quite a bit of wrist wear at the moment, video looks interesting

A rather special incoming - full metal G in titanium. Quality and comfort on the wrist and has a truly high end feel. Looks like it will last forever!

Nice, is it rubber coated? Or does it have some black plating on the titanium? Which model is this?

  36. #5986
It's fully DLC coated - sapphire crystal too with anti-reflective coating. The model number is GMW-B5000TB-1ER. It is listed as an origin model as it tries to recapture the look and spirit of the very first G-Shock. It does have a crazy RRP of £1,400 although I managed to secure a very good discount.

I never ever thought I would buy a watch like this as I have always been a "cheap" square G and Casio fan but the more I researched I realised this was a unique, quality offering. It sits perfectly on my wrist and is so comfortable. The feel of the titanium is wonderful.

I think most watch fans would be very impressed if they saw this up close.

That is very special. I love my Gw5000 but found the full metal overhung my wrist as the first links do not articulate downwards enough. Otherwise I'd be tempted by this!

Shweeet. Welcome to the club, I’ve been rocking mine today as well. Cracking watch. It may even have cured me from the G disease....

I had read the GWM5000 full metal G was heavy which put me off - this only weighs 95g sized for my 6.75 inch wrist.

It does have the same issue to an extent of the lack of articulation in the first links although the titanium version seems to fit me perfectly. There is a gap if I look down my arm due to the lack of articulation but it is not noticeable on the wrist.

Same size wrist as me. Don't tempt me! Can you press the buttons easily? The ones on the 5000 are so recessed you have to use a fingernail and even then it's hard...

  42. #5992
Yes - seems to sit great on my smallish wrist.

Buttons are the larger variety so reasonably easy to press - only one I sometimes use a finger nail is the mode button. I believe they are the same size as the full metal version you have.

They're growing on me as well, think it will be my next purchase after looking at them in this thread.
