Managed to free this forum favourite from Michael's (MFB Scotland) collection. Previously owned by a few of the long standing members on here, I was delighted to get it. This is the third of these that I have owned over the years and the first that actually started life as a genuine 165:024 and has been treated to service replacement parts with documentary evidence to support that rather than a random donor movement and NOS parts assembled in Watchco or elsewhere fashion.
Michael added a new 1171 Omega bracelet, which I think is an essential bit of kit with these watches.
Definately a keeper and part of my long term three watch exit strategy.
Very nice T. It is my favourite of all the modern FF
This just in from Neil at Chronomaster, a Damasko DC56.
It was this or a DA46 on the bracelet, and I’m glad I went for this one as I feel the chrono adds not only functionality but also visual interest and detail to the dial.
Postman delivered this today
Service sticker still on the caseback
And here it is

I’m really delighted with it.
And if you’ll excuse me I’ll need a few minutes to get the date correct

I got this last week, nice to be back to a 'proper' watch after the Garmin I've been wearing the last few months. My 1st Sinn and very impressed...looking for some different straps already to mix it up...
These are iPhone pics and the zoom seems to be flattening the sunburst blue dial, which actually really pops.

NickRed71: Is that an XII? Can I ask where you got it from? And can I have first dibs if you decided to move it on? Congratulations on your new arrival.

Arrived this morning. Really nice, and spoiled for choice with three bracelets and straps to choose from. Quick iPhone pic.

I bought myself this Straton Legera. It's a big thick lump of a thing, but I love the 70s styling, and that sunburst brown dial is gorgeous. Mine is the VK63 powered version, not the Valjoux.
I'm calling it my Divorce Watch.
Think you should Craig. I know you've had your fair share of Patek's. Not saying the VC Overseas is 'better' than a Nautilus or an Aquanaut but it's certainly more practical, versatile and affordable. The easy swap strap and bracelet options are great as is the adjustability of the bracelet and other straps. I had about 6 Nautilus and Aquanauts and struggled to get anything approaching a comfortable fit with any of them.
Been after one of these since I laid my eyes on it earlier in the year.
The blue has to be seen to be believed, no pics can do the watch justice...
