What a great dial that is, love how they've worked the date in to Roman numerals. Enjoy !
Limited edition of 175, arrived yesterday.
White enamel dial and blued leaf hands.

Now that really is gorgeous, very clean and sharp.

I'd hate to be with you when you're on your own.
28's going to be a bit of a squeeze.
Not quite my cup of tea (not crass & vulgar enough for me!), but I can see that its fabulous if its yours!
That’s a belter. Liked the idea of the no-date version, but already got an alpha and had two Ludwigs already...
... how enamelly (if that’s a word) is the dial ?

The Roman numeral date wheel is genius, don’t think I’ve ever seen that before.
Clearly I'm being a bit slow, apologies.
How does the date wheel render 28?
Edit - just seen I'm not the first to ask. The font must be tiny.
Their website shows the date wheel set to 29, and as excepted from a Nomos, perfectly executed.
Nice legible hands, a simple but curvy case design and a sexy dial. The font of the Roman numerals look fantastic on that enamel dial. The date wheel is sublime. Did I say I like it?

I absolutely love Nomos and this one looks great. Love the date wheel! Only issue would be the size, knowing how big Nomos wear. How is the 41mm case?
It’s 24 isn’t it? XXIV. Either way you can see there’s enough room for XXVIII, just - or maybe they could use XXIIX?
A really nice touch and not just a gimmick, it looks amazingly harmonious. One of those things where once you see it, you wonder why no one thought of it before (unless someone did of course).

Nice to see that the Romans did do something for us after all.
I really like that. The Roman numerals date window makes it quite unique. I’ve always had a soft spot for them as it was the first proper watch I bought many moons ago.
The twenty eight, XXV111, is the tightest, but perfectly readable.
I'm a have a sparrows wrist of 6.75 and was very concerned about the 41mm, but with the curved 'droopy' lugs, curved underside and flat crystal it works very well.
The watch is exaggerated by being close to the camera.
Thanks all for the great comments.

^Thanks Dave.
Now I understand it, I like it a lot.

Julius Caesar probably did, but had trouble getting the senate to agree to enough sestertius to develop his on in-house escapement.
It cost Nomos a packet.....
Nomos wanted to free itself from these shackles and invested 12 million Euro in the development of the Swing System, its own house-made escapement, over the course of a seven-year collaboration with a technical university. The escapement is arguably the most difficult part of a mechanical watch to create.

Roman date is a terrific touch, bravo
Gorgeous design, but at 40.5mm it'll look like a dinner plate on your wrist unless you've 8" wrists.
Nomos are all dial, so it'll appear larger than the stated dimensions and make it look excessive in size for a dress watch.
Lovely!
Hi Dave, hope you’re well.
That looks lovely. The date window is excellent.
