    Bremont saves the day.

It was a close run thing, but this Spitfire & his trusty Bremont timepiece, saw off this pesky intruder.
RAF pilot now having a cuppa & bacon sandwich, while the Me109 heading his way back home.

You’d have thought we had enough Bremont wars going on in this forum without starting another......

I've had a few Bremont's over the years and have loved them all. My first impression of the brand was how well it punched above its weight and held its own against some of the top-tier Swiss brands.

Unfortunately, their size hasn't always agreed with me and I've moved all of the 43mm models on and just have my S300 now.
That doesn't mean I don't miss them though and lately, I've had some serious seller's remorse about letting the S500 go.

Just this one in the fold now.

Credit to them, the rotors in both of those watches are impressive, and are going to be very expensive to make compared with the mundane equivalents in most watches - even high-end brands.

Not sure about "saving the day" but my SM500 has supported me well over the past 9-10 years, including a few trips at 12,000 feet up in the French alps. My longest serving watch by far, its been a pleasure to own, and one I can't see myself saying goodbye to.
