Congrats to you both - have to say this looks a lot nicer in the metal than the initial press shots.
They are both class! The dial is so clean, any case back shots?
Received from a fellow member this morning. An Orient Pro Saturation Diver - a watch I've hankered after since I first became aware of them about ten years ago. Better in the flesh than I'd imagined and totally live up to the hype.
My newly released GBX-100NS-1ER arrived this morning having gone on UK release on Friday - very happy with this and got 10% off to boot even though it's a new release and the other GBX-100 models are exempt from discount! (pictured before I synched it up with G-Shock Move app so time is wrong)
This caught my eye today during a flying visit to Chichester, c. 1970s manual-wind. I confess to knowing little to nothing about the company before now, so I have some research to do. Very pleased with it!

Don't know why I am surprised after my first San Martin a couple of months ago but these two arrived today and I am blown away with the quality and QC on these things. The bracelet on the orange one is amazing.

Looks like a nice pick up! Favre-Leuba is still in business today (in resurrected form) and trace their history to 1737, which would make them the second oldest watch brand (after Blancpain). Some iconic watches in their catalogue too, mostly from the 60's. Certainly a brand worth exploring.
Thanks for the response!

Longer strap finally arrived so picked this one up today. Long journey to get here but very pleased with my first Patek.

No, I did have my customary look in RL Austen and GoldArts but this was from Lowery Jewellers which is a little further up North Street.

Thank you, wasn’t even on my radar until I got the chance to try it on, lovely thing on the wrist.

This immaculate beauty arrived today after having to stump up import fees (always forget that when bidding).
Just hoping it'll fire up with a fresh battery.
Managed to snag one of these before the inevitable sold out sign appeared
I saw the email earlier and all three were still available when I got round to taking a look - was surprised they lasted as long as they did. This was my favourite of the three, but at 41.5mm a bit large for my tastes.
Looking forward to seeing the pics when you get it.
I'm a happy chappy today. My new Stowa Fleiger Classic 40mm arrived. I'm very pleased with it. The communication with Stowa was faultless and it arrived quicker than the four weeks they had stated, even though I had specified the FL engraving on the case. The blued hands normally look dark blue/black but when they catch the light they turn a gorgeous shiny mid blue. The mat black dail is very legible and the lume is excellent. I had been considering replacing the strap as I wasn't too keen on the rivets. As soon as I put it on I changed my mind. It's so well made and comfortable. The logo and date might not be the traditional fleiger specification but I think the dial would look a bit bland without them.
It's my first angry duck!
Here's a couple of quick phone shots:
I bought this Citizen Promaster Tough (BN0118-12L) last Sunday. It seems like a lot of watch for not so much money. Retail price is £299, but ask for a discount and it’s possible to trim 10% off RRP.
I briefly handled the black dial version on the titanium bracelet as well as the blue dial on the kevlar strap, but it’s the blue dial I opted for. Mind you, I’d also be tempted to buy the black dial on the bracelet at a later date. These models have a monocoque case. The seconds hand hits all the markers, which is another feature that pleases me. I also like the very fine tip on the seconds hand.
The one flaw is the small date window. I prefer dateless watches, but at least this one is smaller than most. Roll out this model minus the date and I’d happily buy it again.
Even the lume is impressive:
If I was asked to recommend one watch as a daily wearer, for someone on a tight budget, this would be the one.
I've had a few unimatics, and always been impressed. But the reduced thickness of these versions really appeals, they're made for a NATO but the standard ones look a bit tall.
The bezel alignment needs to be spot on, because of the dial/insert design if it's even a fraction off it stands out massively.
The pricing has always felt too steep for me to give them a go. But that's the problem looking at things online. I love the design language and this range seemed a nice twist on it. Especially with the thinner profile. Congratulations

Arrived today, my first purchase from Sales Corner.
Blown away by the quality, I’ve wanted one for a while. I should have got one way sooner!
