    More Grand Seiko GMT Options

Don't think I've seen these mentioned yet. Another sporty GMT offering from GS. Fitting in between the 9F quartz and the spring drive options I suppose, with styling closer to the former....

Have to say I quite like the coloured dials in combination with the steel bezel insert.

Look nice but lots of money and I can't get on with the wonky date.

I read an article interviewing the new boss at Seiko recently and his words were very on point. Too many sub brands, too many designs, bloated portfolio. Hope they slim it down going forwards and make some pieces that compliment eachother, rather than fight eachother.

Certainly a nice looking watches - I'm partial to the blue dialled variant. As a long time GMT-II owner, it looks like this and the Spring Drive GMT linked to in the article (which admittedly looks delicious) have a fixed bezel, which I suspect I'd miss, but at least it'll keep the watch a little slimmer.

I've been pondering another 4 hander on and off for a while - are the Spring Drive and Auto GMT GS an entirely new thing, or is this "just" an evolution of existing lines?

Agreed. The green stands out for me.
