Such a strap monster:
A couple of new arrivals
Incredibly happy with this, very comparable to GSs at less than 2K!
Proportions, fit & finish are top notch! If I had to change something, I’ll probably get rid of the date complication.. other than that, it’s an incredible watch!
To be continued..
Best Regards

A MartinCRC special.
Uber elegant and understated.
Big! Much bigger than a dress watch from the 60’s would suggest.
40hr of power reserve, accuracy measured over a week of daily wearing of +5sd.
Another watch which proves that “buy the seller, not the watch” is a must when buying vintage.
I’m lucky to own a beautiful and robust watch from an amazing guy such as Martin!
A couple of shots from Martin’s blog..
And the link to his blog entry..

Realised this morning that I must have had this for 30 years now .. bought it in late 1991 from a jeweller's in Derby.
I realise SARBs are probably old news to most, but I’ve only recently started to appreciate them. Managed to pick one up from the forum a couple of weeks ago, and an uncle Seiko jubilee arrived for it today
Probably my most difficult watch to photograph! With my phone...
In general I dislike green dials and cathedral hands and lume with dots and yet I am totally smitten.
Must be love.

Thank-you. The caseback says 7002-8000.
Managed to google another one here:

.. where there's a better pic:
It's a 36mm automatic, non-hand-winding, non-hacking. Mineral glass I think. Not very accurate (it's always gained about 15 secs a day, which is why it doesn't get worn much). I did have some success regulating a couple of Seiko 5s about a year ago though, perhaps I'll give this one a go.
Thanks very much, monogroover. Off to the bay I go.
In my humble opinion Seiko smashed it out the park with the ‘King’ versions. Love the ceramic bezels/sapphire/dials combo and think they’re worth the extra money over standard.

Wearing this as I type. For me one of Seiko's finest. I can get lost looking at it!
Picked up this lovely 2004 SKX007, decided to age the bezel to match the patina of the lume.
Seiko Mt. Fuji
Had this a couple of days now, absolutely love it.
