Yes and no. Wordle never said they used every valid 5-letters word: it was always a finite list, that has been further shortened by the NYT. As to Norse, I believe it spells with a capital N and may therefore not be recognised as a common word (but that is only a possible interpretation).

It's related to character sets, same as with apostrophes in Tapatalk.
