Oops. Wrong thread.
Thanks for the info. A mate of mine is asking for recommendations for a watch to mark his wedding. His initial budget was £1k but I'm trying to get him to up it to get into a 38mm Club. The blue and also the grey dials looks particularly good and as a one watch option would obviously be more appropriate.
Finally! Cartier have 3 coming here and I got one for collection in May when I’m in London. Various people say they have them in stock but what they have is an appointment to register interest.
Anyhoo, I’ll post picks when it arrives. One good thing about Cartier is that you can buy a classic watch at rrp!
In the meantime there’s this…

This 2011 Pulsar RAF Gen 2 arrived today after being stuck in customs for several weeks. I have wanted one of these for a couple of years, and am not disappointed. The size is perfect, it still has some lume, and the case dings and nicks add a lot of character.
I do love the Club, especially the 36mm version with display back. Great VFM, just cannot get over that lug gap between the case and strap. Nato defeats the object of display back and they don't offer the bracelet with end links for this size... yet!
I know of a discontinued 36mm Dunkel with display back for sale, serviced recently and for a good price.
Had my eye on one of these for several months, after a couple of aborted negotiations this arrived a few days ago.

Lovely spuds, wholesome. Enjoy borrowing it from him.
Congrats, Spuds 👍
Not a watch, but this strap arrived today courtesy of another forum member and I must say I'm a bit smitten! Very comfy.
This today. Fantastic and thickness isn’t an issue at all. Clasp is great.
Bought from a wtb on this lovely forum at a reasonable price

That’s nice :) I was unsure about my 39mm BB58 Tudor bronze being too small on my 7.5inch wrist which you also if I remember rightly had a similar issue with . But in reality it’s great. Far more wearable that than many watches in my little collection . The bracelet adjustment is great too. Enjoy, it looks cool.

Thanks guys. The adjustment on the Pelagos wasnt enough for me but the adjustment on the Pro has a wider range and is better executed. It’s essentially a small Sub clasp. Really happy with it so far.
Nice one, Wileey
A couple of recent arrivals. So similar but so different too!

My first arrival for a while now. It was a bit of an impulse buy but it is in far from the worst condition that I have seen so I snapped it up.
Having already got the yellow one I suppose it is inevitable that I need to seek out the green one to get the set.
Nice to have a BB58 again

Finally they've made a matt black steel square. Really like this one.
Pre set-up, so forgive the American format.
Been dabbling with microbrands recently. This just arrived today. Pictures don't do it justice.

I've been looking for a non-date Legend Diver for a while and happy to have added this one from 2009.
I have gone all high tech; on my right wrist at least, with an Apple SE Watch which is wonderfully juxtaposed to my left wrist Rolex. It is really just intended as a fitness tracker, but so far so good.

I've just gone on and ordered this one. Very strange though as there is no 'add to cart' button on the page. Instead you need to go to menu, watches, All Watches - then click against the Heart symbol to favourite the one you want. Along the bottom is another heart symbol, takes you to your list of favourites, from there you can add all to cart. A bit fiddly!

That's odd, I had no such problems when I ordered mine last week. Anyway you'll not be disappointed with it. Just a heads up it comes with 2 straps, the one with the deployment clasp as shown in the pictures and a black Tropic strap. It doesn't actually mention this anywhere and was a pleasant surprise.
The fitted strap has to be cut down to size so be careful not to cut too much. I prefer it to the Tropic strap, it just looks more integrated to me. It's 20mm at the lugs tapering down to 16mm and very supple. Doesn't attract dust and lint like some rubber straps do.
