    I saw W1 LLY on a Mustang.

It was a long time ago but I saw a BMW 735 I with the exact same registration, I think it must of been an Irish plate but spot on for the car.

Spotted a plate on a car in Porthcawl a few weeks ago and have seen it a few times since. It's V15 AGC, with a carefully positioned black screw to turn the C in to an E (VISAGE).
My wife wonders if it belongs to Tanya Harrington, the sister of Steve Strange. He bought a house in Porthcawl for his mum when he had money and Tanya still lives in the town, maybe the same house for all I know.
Not normally a fan of plates using numbers and screws to denote letters, but if it's her, I think it's a pretty cool nod to her late brother.

That’s really good to know. I read the plate as «*hell bent*» so thought it was funny but will keep him in my book as good trade guys are hard to find.

Seen a few of those ( different endings) on driving school cars. I bet there was a brief time when someone on a driving school “ forum” said , hey PA55….. been released and the DVLA website lit up like a Christmas tree.

SH11RTS spotted on a grey van just now, rather liked that one.

I can't say, but this is North London where some folks aren't up to speed with the concept of good social behaviour . It had been rather windy so might have blown in from some remote region ........

Seen 2 today that have used illegal spacing, one you would expect:-
    HEL3N

and one that shows some people are never happy:-
    A13 - was done as AB using a shortened 3 - looked a bit tacky on a Bentley……

I don't think it means anything other than it belongs to someone called Ben? The K44 is just a short letter/number combination.

The mighty Mrs C bought me this for the Bonneville for Christmas. Im ready for the roasting for

    A. The plate itself

    and

    B. The spacing

But I thought she did pretty well.
