Uncle Seiko do the GL831 in 19mm. Not sure without checking how long it is but I find the standard length a reasonable size and not long at all. My favourite Seiko strap by far and super comfortable.
I have a Seiko SLA043 arriving tomorrow.
It has 19mm lugs and will need Seiko spring bars.
I don’t like long rubber straps and my wrists are a little under 7 inches.
Can anyone recommend a decent flexible 19mm rubber strap which will take Seiko spring bars but which is shorter than the usual?
I’m struggling!

That’s quite reasonable I think. Compare that to the alternative watchgecko 284 (only in 22mm) and they are 140/80, so much bigger. Unbelievably now £62, seem to remember they were £28 last time I bought one.
Maybe drop Uncle Seiko an email, maybe he’s an odd short 19mm laying about. If not I think the standard is definitely worth a try.
Don’t forget the UK site.

They do a 20mm short, would that squeeze in? Maybe try both?
A kind member recommended these, which are reported to fit 19mm. I’ve also found some skinny fat spring bars which will help things.

I bought one of these (off SC) for my SLA043 and it’s a cracking strap, supple and feels like a high quality OEM. https://www.strapcode.com/products/s...km05b-pbu66-xx
I can’t say Tropic style straps have ever appealed to me, but this suits the watch perfectly. Never even bothered with the OEM ones as I’d read they were huge.
Barton do a good range of their Elite silicone straps in19mm and come with both a long and short 'holed' length.
There was a 19mm Barton tropic on SC not too long ago.
Why not get skinny fat spring bars and then have the option of fitting any strap you like?
