The board should be done for bringing the club into disrepute.

Says something when Reguilon - who couldn’t even get on our bench - has been their best defender.

United being outplayed by a newly promoted Burnley. Never thought I’d see the day.

No Martinelli or Trossard today for Arsenal due to injuries. Bench looks thin. Johnson starts for Spurs.

I do feel some people are underestimating Spurs and their players, this will be a tough game, and they have some players like Udogie who have gone under the radar. I'm hoping for a 3-1 Arsenal win but something is telling me this will be 2-2

Looks like the worlds best No 6 and the third best No 6 in London could be out for Arsenal v Man City .

Ridiculous, and very annoying indeed when coupled with the massive deflection for their first goal.

If he hadn't handled it the ball would have gone in the net hence it is a penalty

    Probably a fair result, I’d say - a nail-biter for sure, though.

Slightly better for you than the second best team in the country who were at home.

Fair result in the end, Spurs light years of last season's team, always a menace on the break and very resilient in midfield.

Arsenal need a striker. Absolutely zero cha ce we are getting anywhere near Man City this year - focus on Top 4 for now

LOLZ. Agreed, though - we’re certainly on the right trajectory, anyway, and the pundits were suggesting a thumping today.

Rubbish! He didn’t handle it. Where was he supposed to put his arm when he’s going down? We also had Bissouma covering.

To be fair there was another incident towards the end where Udogie handled and I've seen them given also

Anyway 2-2 was fair, you guys merited it and are a million times better than last season and a good shout for a CL spot I'd say, hopefully Maddison isn't injured as he is key for you.

So Anthony Gordon uses his hand to help keep the ball in play , which he then pops across to Longstaff to score .
    VAR deem it fine .
    I’m confused .

I think it’s because he didn’t use his hand to control the ball. His arm was pointing down and the ball bounced up and hit it.

That was a pen on Gordon that we didn’t get.

Gordon definitely too much a diver for me but that previous challenge on Longstaff from Jack Robinson was awful.

He may have got the ball clean but his only intention was to take out the opponent. Cowardly stuff.

I disagree. I thought it was an excellent, proper tackle. He made sure he won the ball cleanly and the only way the opponent gets hurt is if he bottles the tackle.

The game is worse now for not having tackles like that.

    Thanks.

I'd imagine Sheff Utd and Luton are doomed - Burnley do at least have some quality that could keep them up

Just seeing the highlights at half time and re Gordon handball……,

I can see why it’s controversial but if anything the handball element of the movement doesn’t actually help him.

The hand movement moves the ball towards the goal line so not only is not intentional there’s no advantage.

After that it’s just luck that he keeps it in.

    How so ?
The very action of the ball hitting his hand and heading the way it did made the play and the subsequent goal . Romero also didn’t mean to hit it with his hand in the NLD but was penalised . It’s the inconsistency that is driving people daft .
Atwell is an embarrassment though . How he is constantly given games at this level is beyond me .

Hard to blame some of the players Mart. It’s the clueless owners and their advisors. They’re the clowns that bought this set of players.

Too many are bang average, lacking in experience and quality. Great buying some potential for the future but it needs balancing properly with experience. And there is not enough of that. Sterling is no leader, Silva is but he knows his days are numbered and the club will dispense of him this season so is he trying hard enough?

In the current squad only Reece James gets in the first team of ten years ago, and he’s sadly “born injured”.

We’ll be lucky to finish top ten at this rate and that’s no incentive for top players to come. Mid table obscurity for the next few seasons - be just like 30 years ago
