You could well be right, Steve.

If only we had someone who compiles and publishes make-by-make details of the Friday thread.

That watch is the very definition of 'beater' (or perhaps even 'beaten')

Can't argue with that, but it still does what it is supposed to do - it lets me know when it is time to go home.

I will align the bezel when I find my Stillsons.

Think I'm right in saying it's the only steel Rolex to be produced with gold hands and indecies. Bit of a sleeper I'd say.
Mine gets worn very frequently. The gold gives it a pleasant and subtle depth I find. The datejust is all silver and I found the extra numbers around the minute markers less pleasing. The lack of cyclops seems to put it a liitle more under the radar for potential prying eyes. I've had mine on since 26th December. It's gained 3 seconds in that time.

Thanks for the reply. You got in before the price increase then. Amazing timekeeping! I tried the DJ41 on and it just felt too big for that style of watch. I was concerned that the OP41 may be too big also but when I tried it, the size was fine. I think it being a more casual design helps. Anyway, can't wait. I've been on the list since April 23 although I did change my dial preference from green to silver when I saw one in August.

Thank you 👍 It is one I find on my wrist more and more since I bought it. It has far more elegance than my usual divers or my Spitfire chrono. I put it on a new croc strap a couple of weeks that really adds to it too.

I should like to see pics of that some time if you fancy posting them. That would be a combo I'd personally favour - I rarely get-on with bracelets.

:) Yes I was rather hoping Wimm will confirm or not when the January totals are published.

Let me have a look through my records:

Hmm three is the highest weekly total for 2023 and was achieved a few times. However the overall weekly record is four which has been achieved at least once in previous years going back to 2020. The last time there were four Blancpains in a week was April the 1st 2022.

Thanks Wimm. I knew you would have the answer but didn't think you would have the time to look it up, just for this thread......much appreciated!

Glad to be of service. As long as nobody tidies up I can put my finger on the information very quickly.
